JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) — Joint Base Lewis-McChord is holding a memorial service Wednesday for 21-year-old Spc. Wade A. Slack of Waterville, Maine, who was killed in combat May 6 in Afghanistan.
He was assigned to the 707th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company.
