FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — New England Revolution forward Taylor Twellman has been placed on the injury list, ending his season.

The team says Twellman had a setback in his rehabilitation from the concussion he sustained almost two years ago in a collision with Los Angeles Galaxy goalkeeper Steve Cronin.

Twellman, the team’s all-time leading scorer, has not trained with the Revolution in over a month.

Twellman says his goal was to return to the field this year.

Twellman has scored 101 goals in Major League Soccer, one of five players to reach the milestone.
