Woman killed by train in Puyallup identified

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The Pierce County medical examiner’s office has identified the 44-year-old woman hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Puyallup.

Deanne Bailey, of Graham, was killed just before 6 p.m. Thursday. Puyallup police say the death appears to be a suicide.

No one aboard the northbound train was injured.
