Suspected US missile strike kills 5 in NW Pakistan

MIR ALI, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistani officials say a suspected U.S. missile strike on a house has killed five people near the Afghan border.

Noor Ahmed, a senior government official in North Waziristan, says Sunday’s attack occurred near Miran Shah, the main town in the rugged tribal area. He says tribesmen have recovered five bodies so far.
