WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Third-seeded Caroline Wozniacki has been knocked out in the fourth round at Wimbledon by unseeded Czech Petra Kvitova.

The fourth-ranked Wozniacki, aiming to reach the quarterfinals at the All England Club for the first time, was beaten 6-2, 6-0 in just 46 minutes on Monday.

The Dane, last year’s U.S. Open runner-up, was dominated by the 62nd-ranked Kvitova, managing just four winners to her opponent’s 23.

Wozniacki won only six points on Kvitova’s serve and failed to create a single break point chance.

It is the first time Kvitova has reached the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam in nine attempts.

The 20-year-old will play either Klara Zakopalova or Kaia Kanepi for a berth in the semifinals.
