BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona says striker Thierry Henry has agreed to leave the club by mutual consent.

Henry helped Barcelona to a record six major trophies in 2009, including the Champions League. But the Frenchman scored only four goals last season, his third at the club. He had one year left on his contract.

Barcelona director general Joan Oliver also said Monday that midfielder Yaya Toure has indicated he did not wish to stay with the two-time defending Spanish champion. Oliver says Toure has drawn interest from the English club Manchester City.
