WSU graduate student named to board of regents

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Gov. Chris Gregoire has named a Washington State University graduate student to the WSU Board of Regents.

Ericka Christensen is a political science doctoral candidate. The research and teaching assistant recently completed a term as president of the WSU Graduate Student Association. She earned her bacherlor’s and master’s degrees from Idaho State University.

The student from Pocatello, Idaho, plans to complete her doctoral degree at WSU in the fall of 2011.
