PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — A year later, Y.E. Yang is telling his secret. There was a very specific reason why he was able to win the Honda Classic a year ago.

Somewhere along the way, he stopped trying to win the tournament.

One shot to the next, that was Yang’s only focus last year at PGA National, when the Honda became his first PGA Tour win.

He followed that up five months later with a win at the PGA Championship, and this week, the defending champion thinks he knows how to be in the mix once again at the Honda, which will open the Florida Swing on Thursday in less-than-seasonable temperatures.
