YACOLT, Wash. (AP) — The second inmate who escaped Jan. 2 from the Larch Corrections Center was caught Sunday in Portland.

The Department of Corrections says 28-year-old Derek B. Price is held in the Multnomah County Jail for his return to Washington.

The other escapee, 23-year-old Christopher A. Woodrum, was arrested Jan. 18 by Kent police responding to a restaurant burglary.

Woodrum had been serving time at the minimum-security prison near Yacolt for burglary. Price was serving time for burglary, auto theft and drug convictions.
