KENT, Wash. (AP) — A Kent nursing home worker accused of sexually assaulting a 71-year-old woman pleaded not guilty to a rape charge Monday in King County Superior Court.
Prosecutors says another employee at the home for Alzheimer’s patients found 35-year-old Douglas McGregor last month with his genitals exposed.
He told police the woman had broken the button on his pants.
McGregor remains in jail with bail set at $250,000.
