Driver dies running into parked truck in Auburn

AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — A car rear-ended a semi-truck parked on the shoulder of southbound Highway 167 about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in Auburn.

Valley Regional Fire Authority says the driver of the car died at the scene. There was no one else in the car. The truck driver is unhurt.

The accident has caused delays in both directions on Highway 167 during the morning commute.
