Confused man struck and killed in Olympia

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A man who appeared confused and walking in different directions was struck and fatally injured by a car about 9 p.m. Wednesday in Olympia.

Police say several drivers told officers that a number of cars narrowly missed the man before he was hit.

A fire department unit took the 44-year-old to St. Peter Hospital where he died.
