Man shot dead in south Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) — Police say they have no suspects or eyewitnesses in the shooting death of a man in south Seattle.

Spokeswoman Renee Witt says officers responded to a report of gunfire just before midnight Sunday in a Rainier Valley neighborhood where they found the man shot in the head and chest.

Fire Department medics declared the 25-year-old dead at the scene.
