The Better Business Bureau issued a consumer warning about a Seattle work-at-home program advertiser, Search Profit System & Money Mastery, which operates the Web site: http://spsandmm.com/.

The site claims consumers can earn money using search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo and Bing. However, complainants say they signed up to pay $1.95 for a work-at-home packet or kit from the company, and instead ended up being charged $49.95 in monthly membership dues. Attempts to cancel accounts and get refunds were unsuccessful.

Search Profit System & Money Mastery uses a Seattle drop-box located at 93 S. Jackson St., No. 20205, according to the Better Business Bureau.

The company has possible ties to Utah-based Money Mastery, which has accrued a similar pattern of complaints, the Better Business Bureau reported.
