Vancouver police said they arrested a student Friday morning at Hudson’s Bay High School after he was allegedly found in possession of a medication for which he had no prescription.

The boy, whose name and age were not immediately available, was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center’s detention area, Sgt. Greg Raquer with the Vancouver Police Department said Monday night.

Police were called to the school at 1601 E. McLoughlin Blvd. at 8:35 a.m. Friday at the behest of a school official, according to public 911 records.

Raquer said the police report didn’t specify which prescription drug was involved. The boy’s parents were notified.
