Skills Center announces summer schedule

The Clark County Skills Center will offer 14 free job skills training courses from June 24 through July 15. Courses include: auto detailing, basic car maintenance, baking, fashion, travel and tourism, webpage design and natural resources.

Students must be high school sophomores, juniors or seniors during the 2010-2011 school year to be eligible for courses. Transportation is not provided. Tuition is free but some classes have a $10 to $25 lab fee.

Registration begins May 20 and is done in a first-come basis. Forms are available at the Skills Center and high school counseling offices.
