A Celebration of Life benefit for the family of Ronan Wilson will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Blackstone, 3200 S.E. 164th Ave.

Ronan, 4, died April 8 at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. Ronan contracted E. coli O157:H7 bacteria at his child care center. The in-home center remains closed pending investigations by the Department of Early Learning and Child Protective Services.

At Saturday’s benefit, there will be live music from Shot of Mercury and acoustical performances from Brady Beard and Kenny Affleck, said Ronan’s aunt, Savenia Falquist. There will also be a silent auction. Anyone interested in donating an item to be auctioned can call 360-907-3474.

There will be a $5 cover charge.

All proceeds will go to the Ronan Wilson Medical Fund.

General donations to the fund can be made at any branch of US Bank.

Ronan is survived by his parents, Anthony and Bonnie Wilson of Hazel Dell, and his older brother Gavin.
