Dumais, Ipsen reach final at USA Diving Grand Prix

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Americans Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen reached the 3-meter final at the USA Diving Grand Prix on Thursday.

Li Shixin of China led with 488.35 points, followed by Ipsen (474.75) and Dumais (458.05).

Nicola Marconi of Italy (428.25), Francois Imbeau-Dulac of Canada (425.45), and Juan Uran of Colombia (400.20) will also compete in Saturday’s final.

China’s Liu Jiao led the women’s platform final six with 347.55 points, followed by Ma Sinuo with 342.85.

They’ll be joined in the final by Rachel Kemp of Canada (314.25), Karla Elizabeth Rivas of Mexico (313.80), Tonia Couch of Britain (299.90), and Carol-Ann Ware of Canada (292.05).
