FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Motorcycle daredevil Robbie Knievel plans to jump more than 200 feet over a line of police cars at Texas Motor Speedway next month.

Knievel’s third jump at the Texas track will be June 5 before an IRL race. He has also jumped over IndyCar Series cars and Hummer vehicles.

Two years ago, Knievel successfully jumped over 21 Hummer vehicles at TMS, and indicated after that it would be his last jump there. In 2001, he jumped over the starting field of 20 IRL cars lined up nose-to-tail in two rows of 10 before the race.

Knievel, who turns 48 Friday, has successfully completed more than 250 jumps since he was 9 years old.
