Diamondbacks activate OF Jackson from DL

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Conor Jackson from the 15-day disabled list before Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Jackson had been out since April 19 with a right hamstring strain. He is hitting .267 with two RBIs in 11 games this season.

Arizona optioned outfielder Gerardo Parra to Triple-A Reno to make room for Jackson on the active roster. Parra appeared in 26 games and hit .247 with six doubles and seven RBIs.
