OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — New Creighton coach Greg McDermott has kicked guard P’Allen Stinnett (pea-allen) off the team.

Former coach Dana Altman suspended Stinnett indefinitely in late January for “conduct not acceptable to the team.” McDermott announced Stinnett’s dismissal on Monday without comment.

Stinnett is from Las Vegas and would have been a senior next season. He led the Bluejays with 12.6 points a game as a freshman, and was second on the team in scoring with 12.5 points a game as a sophomore.

Last season, Stinnett averaged 9.2 points over 20 games.
