EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Workers are installing nearly 100 solar panels this week on the roof of a Snohomish County administration building in Everett.
They will be used to power vehicle-charging stations in the county parking garage. The county owns two electric vehicles currently, and plans to buy a dozen more.
The $450,000 solar panel project is funded by federal stimulus money. The panels are made at Arlington-based Silicon Energy.
