LOWELL, Ore. (AP) — Lane County sheriff’s officers and Oregon State Police are hunting for a gunman who fatally shot a person Wednesday night at a church in the small Oregon town of Lowell.
The shooter reportedly fled in a pickup truck.
Residents tell KEZI they’ve seen officers searching the neighborhood. Deputies told homeowners to stay inside and lock their doors.
Lowell is located southeast of Eugene.
