GRASS VALLEY, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say three people died early Tuesday when their pickup collided with a commercial truck in Sherman County.

Sgt. Pat Shortt says the pickup crossed the center line shortly before the crash 10 miles south of Grass Valley. The victims died at the scene; their names have been withheld pending notification of out-of-state relatives.

The truck driver and his passenger, both from California, were taken to a hospital in The Dalles for treatment of minor injuries.
