DUBLIN (AP) — Robbie Keane scored twice Friday to lead Ireland to a 3-0 victory over Algeria, a U.S. opponent at next month’s World Cup.

Paul Green scored in his first start in the 31st minute, and Keane added goals in the 52nd and 85th minutes of the exhibition game.

In the addition to the U.S., Algeria faces Slovenia and England in World Cup group play in South Africa. Ireland failed to qualify after losing to France in a playoff.
