Man killed on Highway 62 at White City

WHITE CITY, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a 51-year-old Medford man was trying to walk across Highway 62 near White City in an unlit area Saturday night when he was fatally struck.

Richard W. Kretsinger was airlifted to Providence Medford Medical Center where he was declared dead.

The driver was a 33-year-old Eagle Point man who had his two sons, ages 8 and 5, with him at the time of the accident. They were not injured.
