ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Texas Rangers reliever Alexi Ogando has left Game 4 of the World Series with an apparent injury to his left side.

Ogando had already retired the first five batters he faced when, on a 1-1 pitch to Juan Uribe, his pitch was way outside and went to the backstop. Ogando quickly grabbed at his left side.

There was no immediate word from the team on the exact injury, which occurred in the sixth inning Sunday night against the San Francisco Giants.

When the pitch got by Bengie Molina, the catcher motioned toward the mound and team trainer Jamie Reed went out to check on the right-hander.

Oganda was relieved by Darren Oliver.
