Republican Dino Rossi waved signs with supporters in Vancouver on Monday, a day before the Nov. 2 election.
Rossi is vying for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democrat Patty Murray.
He gathered with supporters at 7:30 a.m. on the Interstate 205 overpass near Mill Plain Boulevard. He told volunteers the “most important part is making sure everyone signs their ballot, gets a stamp on it and gets it in the mail,” said Erin Daly, a campaign spokeswoman.
Rossi is scheduled in Puyallup at noon for a “Victory Rally.” The race between Rossi and incumbent Murray is expected to be among several races that will determine the balance of power in the Senate.
