SEATTLE (AP) — Don’t like Northwest weather? Like they say, just wait 20 minutes — or in this case two days.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport hit a high temperature of 74 on Wednesday, tying a record set on Nov. 4, 1949, for the warmest November day at that location. National Weather Service meteorologist Dustin Guy says those records date to 1945.

On Monday, Sea-Tac set a different sort of record for Nov. 1, recording 1.55 inches of rain.

By Friday, Guy says look for more Seattle rain.

In Oregon, Weather Service meteorologist Steve Starmer says Salem’s Wednesday high of 74 degrees set a November record for that city, besting the previous mark of 72, set on Nov. 2, 1970, and Nov. 1, 1969.

Starmer says Astoria’s high of 73 tied that city’s monthly record for November high temperatures. The earlier high of 73 was set on Nov. 9, 1907.
