Welches man struck and killed on Highway 26

WELCHES, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say an 80-year-old Welches man was wearing dark clothing and walking on Highway 26 in an unlit area Thursday night when he was struck and killed.

He’s identified as Robert Junior Dueber.

The driver of the car was not injured.
