Sex attack on woman pushing stroller in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A woman who was pushing a stroller in Spokane says she was sexually assaulted by a man who threatened to harm her baby unless she complied.

The 18-year-old woman told police the man jumped out of a wooded area in the dark about 6 p.m. Monday in the South Hill neighborhood. He was armed with a knife.

KXLY-TV reports the baby was in the stroller during the attack.

Police searched with dogs but were unable to track down a suspect.
