NEW YORK (AP) — NBA scoring leader Monta Ellis is in the starting lineup for Golden State at New York, two nights after hurting his back in a fall.

Ellis landed hard in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ victory at Toronto on Monday and was diagnosed with a strained lower back after X-rays and a CT scan. He remained overnight in Canada before rejoining his team Tuesday and taking part in the morning shootaround Wednesday.

Ellis is averaging 27.9 points.
