Man shot by police in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane police say one man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Friday afternoon in north Spokane.

Spokane Police spokeswoman Jennifer DeRuwe says the man died after a fire exchange with a police officer.
