Franklin, Hill lead UTSA by Huston-Tillotson 82-65

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Stephen Franklin and Jeromie Hill scored 16 points each to lead UTSA to a season-opening 82-65 victory against Huston-Tillotson on Friday night.

Melvin Johnson III added 12 points for the Roadrunners, and Hill had 10 rebounds. All 13 players who entered the game scored for UTSA, which led by as many as 24 points in the second half.

Jerald Ardoin scored 27 points to lead Huston-Tillotson (0-4), an NAIA school in Austin, Texas. The only Rams player to score in double figures, Hill added a team-high nine rebounds.
