Kent State blows out Bryant 90-49

CLEVELAND (AP) — Carlton Guyton scored a game-high 19 points, including 5-for-5 from three-point range, to lead Kent State to a 90-49 blowout win over Bryant on Saturday in the third game of the World Vision Classic.

The Golden Flashes (2-0) led 39-29 at halftime thanks to 11 second-chance points, but a second half offensive explosion sealed the win for Kent State.

The Bulldogs (0-2) were outscored 51-20 in the second half, including 30-2 in the paint and 38-11 in bench points.

Kent State shot 20-for-36 (55.6 percent) from the floor in the second half as 12 players scored a basket, including Michael Porrini who notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Alex Francis, who also grabbed 10 rebounds, and Frankie Dobbs led the Bulldogs with 11 points each.

Bryant shot 16 of 54 (29.6 percent) from the field and missed eight of 17 free throws.
