Green for the Holidays

Forty-two vendors participated in the first Green Holiday Gift Event, held Saturday afternoon at the Marshall Community Center in Vancouver. Terra Heilman, one of the event’s organizers, estimated that at least 1,000 people perused a variety of products made from recycled materials, from handbags to bird feeders. “We had a couple of vendors completely sell out of their product,” Heilman said. “That’s a good problem to have.”
