Cal Poly stops Seattle 76-60

SEATTLE (AP) — David Hanson had 22 points, Will Donahue added 16 points and 10 rebounds and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo pulled away down the stretch to defeat Seattle 76-60 on Sunday night.

The Mustangs earned the win for head coach Joe Callero in his first trip back to Seattle since leaving the Redhawks before their return to Division I a season ago.

Callero spent eight seasons as head coach of Seattle while the Redhawks were in Division II.

Sterling Carter led the way for Seattle with 24 points. Mark McLaughlin, Aaron Broussard and Alex Jones each added 10 for the Redhawks.

Shawn Lewis finished with 21 points and eight rebounds for Cal Poly.
