Missy Franklin wins 3 more races, 7 total

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Missy Franklin won three more races Sunday in USA Swimming’s Minneapolis Grand Prix to finish the three-day competition with seven victories in seven events.

The 15-year-old star from Aurora, Colo., had a career best in the 200-yard individual medley, winning in 1 minute, 57.16 seconds. She won the 200 backstroke in 1:53.17, and took the 100 freestyle in 48.50.

Ryan Lochte won two events Sunday. He edged Todd Patrick in the 200 individual medley, touching the wall in 1:45.35, and cruised to an easy victory in the 200 backstroke in 1:40.44.
