FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU offensive line coach Eddie Williamson remains in stable condition in a hospital after experiencing chest pains on the sideline during a game.

TCU spokesman Mark Cohen says Williamson was “doing great” Sunday but still expected to remain in the hospital “another day or two.”

The 58-year-old Williamson fell ill during the first quarter of the fourth-ranked Horned Frogs’ 40-35 victory over San Diego in Fort Worth on Saturday. The coach left the sideline and was taken to a hospital.

Williamson is in his 10th season at TCU. He became assistant head coach in 2002.

TCU doesn’t play again until its regular-season finale Nov. 27 at New Mexico.
