MORTON, Wash. (AP) — Seismologists says a magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook parts of the south Puget Sound area Tuesday morning.
The Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network says the quake occurred at 7:51 a.m. and was centered about 8 miles west of Morton, or about 40 miles south of Olympia. It was felt in the Olympia area, but there are no immediate reports of damage.
