Wells Fargo has donated $1,000 each to 10 Clark County schools to use however they wish.

The grants were announced at the bank’s second-annual principal’s breakfast, held at Elmer’s Restaurant in Vancouver.

Schools receiving funds are Crestline Elementary, Fruit Valley Elementary, Hazel Dell Elementary, Hough Elementary, Martin Luther King Elementary, Mill Plain Elementary, Orchards Elementary and Washington Elementary, all in Vancouver; Hathaway Elementary School in Washougal; and Maple Grove Primary School in Battle Ground. The educators attending the breakfast also received a copy of Wells Fargo’s financial education program called Hands On Banking, to teach the basics of good money management.
