BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Police say they arrested three men suspected in a string of more than a dozen home invasion robberies in Kitsap County with one thing in common.
All the victims were medical marijuana or illegal marijuana users.
Bremerton police say the men were on their way to commit another robbery Wednesday when they were stopped by city and Kitsap County sheriff’s detectives.
In the robberies in the past two months in the Bremerton area, victims were tied up, shot at and pistol whipped. Detectives discovered some of the drug robberies were not reported.
One of the three men arrested had been released from prison last month after serving time for robbing a Bremerton grocery store two years ago.
