HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — Fire officials say a Learjet jet landing at Hillsboro Airport west of Portland went too far and ended up off the runway. Hillsboro Fire and Rescue officials say the two people on board are unhurt.

KGW-TV reports the plane landed just before 4 p.m. Wednesday and came to rest about 100 yards from the north end of the runway. The plane didn’t appear to suffer significant damage.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
