Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeats Niagara 90-73

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Tone Boyle scored 27 points to lead four players in double figures and Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeated Niagara 90-73 on Wednesday night.

Tony Meier added 17 points, Ryan Allen 15 and Anthony Hill 12 for the Panthers (2-2), who led by as many as 21 points in the second half.

Wisconsin-Milwaukee led 47-45 late in the first half, but scored the final point before halftime and the first 10 of the second half.

The Panthers held Niagara (0-1) to 27.6 percent shooting in the second half (8 of 29) and outscored the Purple Eagles 42-28 in the frame.

Wisconsin-Milwaukee shot 48.5 percent for the game (33 of 68), won the battle of the boards 44-34 and scored 26 second-chance points.

Kashief Edwards led Niagara with 22 points, and Antoine Mason added 18. Ryan Allen chipped in 15 points and Anthony Hill had 12 for the Purple Eagles.
