Wright State defeats Northwood, Mich. 75-55

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Troy Tabler scored 17 points to lead Wright State past Northwood (Mich.) 75-55 on Wednesday night.

Matt Vest and Vaughn Duggins added 11 points each for the Raiders (1-1), who shot 51.9 percent from the field (27 of 52), including 42.9 percent from the 3-point line (6 of 14).

Tabler scored seven of his points in a 13-0 run that gave Wright State a 26-9 lead with 8:10 remaining in the first half. The Raiders led 44-29 at halftime, shooting 54.8 percent from the field (17 of 31) in the first half.

Kegan Clark’s jumper gave Wright State a 62-36 lead with 10:47 left in the game.

Ten players scored for Wright State.

The Raiders outrebounded Northwood 35-25 and outscored the Timberwolves 32-18 in the paint.

Cameron Joyce and Andrew VanDierenDonck led Northwood (0-3), a Division II program, with 13 points each.
