SEATTLE (AP) — The National Weather Service says snow is likely in a few places in Western Washington into the weekend. And, forecasters say there’s a chance of widespread light valley snow in Eastern Washington.
Forecasters expect snow Friday night along the Hood Canal, over the San Juans and in the north interior where cold air comes down the Fraser River valley.
Colder air Saturday will bring the snow level down to sea level, but there may not be enough moisture for snow. Sunday is expected to be dry.
Below-normal temperatures are forecast across Washington into the middle of next week.
