SEATTLE (AP) — The National Weather Service says temperatures in Western Washington will remain below normal until the middle of next week with lows in the 20s and highs in the 30s.
Forecasters say it will be cold enough to snow, but that’s difficult to predict in the lowlands. The biggest chance for a light snow will be in Whatcom County or along the Hood Canal. Elsewhere any precipitation should fall as rain or rain and snow mixed.
Forecasters expect it will be colder and possibly snowier in Eastern Washington with highs in the 20s and lows dipping into single digits by early next week. Forecasters say it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of valley snow in the Inland Northwest.
