Residents are invited to attend the next Evergreen Public Schools Community Tour, set for Dec. 1.

Participants will visit Evergreen High School, Pacific Middle School, Hearthwood Elementary School and one program at the Clark County Skills Center.

Guests will meet at the Skills Center and be bused to each school. Participants will tour classrooms and have the opportunity to hear from staff and students at each location, besides from district employees.

All Evergreen tours end with a lunch back at the Skills Center, prepared by culinary arts students in the culinary program. There is no cost for this event, and everyone is welcome.

Tours begin at 8 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. at the Skills Center, 12200 N.E. 28th St. in Vancouver.

Pre-registration is requested, for all guests. Go to http://evergreenps.org or call Evergreen’s Community Relations department at 360-604-4088.

This year, the district also offers Wednesday tours specifically for Russian and Spanish speakers (the Dec. 1 tour is in English).

The remaining schedule:

• Feb. 23 (in Russian): Heritage High School, Frontier Middle School, Sunset Elementary School and the Skills Center.

• March 23 (in English): Union High School, Shahala Middle School, Illahee Elementary School and the Skills Center.

• April 20 (in Spanish): Mountain View High School, Wy’east Middle School, Marrion Elementary School and the Skills Center.
