Huff stays with Giants for $22M, 2-year deal

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Aubrey Huff is staying with the San Francisco Giants, agreeing to a $22 million, two-year contract with the World Series champions.

Huff receives $10 million in each of the next two seasons under Tuesday’s agreement, and the Giants get a $10 million club option for 2013 with a $2 million buyout.

Huff hit .290 this year with 26 homers and 86 RBIs, then batted .268 with one homer and eight RBIs in the postseason as the Giants won their first title since 1954.
