ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray says he’s been “pretty much pain-free” and will definitely start against rival Georgia Tech on Saturday.

Murray sustained a bruised left knee and bruised sternum in a Nov. 13 loss to Auburn. He didn’t practice during an off week, but he returned to the field Monday without any major problems.

Murray has been undergoing treatment to deal with the pain and says he never had any doubt he’d be able to play against the Yellow Jackets. Georgia will scale back its workload the rest of the week, reducing the chances of the redshirt freshman quarterback having a setback.

Georgia (5-6) needs to beat Georgia Tech (6-5) to become bowl eligible.
